The Fraternity La Rösa (Bruderschaft La Rösa / Fraternità La Rösa) is a registered charitable association. Its purpose is to support people within the Bernina Region as well as in neighbouring valleys who have fallen upon hard times through no fault of their own. In addition, the Fraternity also acts in the interest of society in general, in particular on cultural and environmental protection projects which further the preservation, promotion and cultivation of the region.
The Fraternity aims to bring people together, irrespective of their social status, in order to provide support to people in need within society.
The Fraternity’s Club House is located in the beautiful Post and Sumpter Station La Rösa (Stazione della Posta) in La Rösa / Valposchiavo at an altitude of 1880 meters above sea-level. This Post Station originally provided travellers with shelter during their arduous crossing of the Bernina Pass. The Fraternity picked this location as its Club House in commemoration of this old tradition.
